The Ministry Krav Haganah Global is a top-notch martial arts ministry for local churches featuring the most in demand martial art of today, Krav Maga. Krav Maga is a reality-based self-defense and fighting system, it is the official martial art of Israel. It is made up of anti-terrorism techniques that are used in Israel in extremely hostile situations which can be successfully used for self-defense here in the United States. The Krav Haganah System is a merger Krav Maga and other Close Quarter Combat techniques. The system is continually enhanced from ongoing training with members of special forces units in Israel. These techniques are designed so that anyone can learn, no matter what their size, strength or skill level.
2. Start a School
The Krav Haganah Global Ministry mission is to educate, develop and certify instructors to teach the martial art of Israel - Krav Maga, and additional supporting self defense and fitness programs as a vehicle to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation, make authentic disciples of Messiah Jesus, encourage men to be the spiritual leaders of their homes, and give them the tools to protect and defend their families and churches.
This is an outreach program, run from your church, community center, or business location, that will draw men who are wanting to train in one of the most popular martial arts today, Krav Maga. The certified instructor will be using the Krav Haganah curriculum and supporting materials which have been developed from over 25 years of training with members of Israeli Special Forces, various other martial arts specialists, and business experience of a successful martial art school.
The founder of Krav Haganah Global, John Peek, began by teaching Krav Maga 2 evenings a week at his church. The majority of students who came to his classes were not members of the church, but came to learn Krav Maga, many of whom got saved while learning to fight. As his ministry grew, members continued to grow in the Lord and new members continued to get saved, a brotherhood culture emerged, and a desire was birthed to bring the gospel and revival to our homes, our communities, our cities, our states, and our nation.
Krav Haganah Global is an evangelical Christian outreach ministry that loves Israel. It is designed for churches and instructors who believe in the inerrancy of Scripture, that the Bible, Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, infallible Word of God; and believe in the trinity – one God eternally existent in three separate persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and believe that God the Father is the personal, transcendent, and sovereign Creator of all things; and believe that Jesus Christ is fully God and fully human, that He was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, provided for the atonement of our sins by His vicarious death on the cross, was bodily resurrected by the power of the Holy Spirit, ascended back to the right hand of God the Father, and ever lives to make intercession for us; and believe that all people are by nature separated from God by their own sin, and no amount of good works can save them, but that salvation, redemption, and forgiveness are freely offered to all by the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. When a person repents and accepts Jesus Christ as personal Savior and Lord, trusting Him to save, that person is immediately born again and sealed by the Holy Spirit. All their sins are forgiven, and that person becomes a child of God destined to spend eternity with the Lord.
The first step in starting a school is to have an instructor.
3. Become an Instructor
Instructors will run their own Krav Haganah School and build a brotherhood culture at their church, community center or business location. They will use the curriculum provided to teach the techniques. They will advertise their classes on social media with some help from Krav Haganah Global Headquarters. They will hold a Krav Haganah class at least once a week, preferably twice a week or more. All students will have access to world-class seminars in a variety of fighting disciplines at the Krav Haganah Global Headquarters at a reduced price.
In our society, people place little or no value on anything free. This is an outreach program to people who know that quality instruction is not free. Therefore, we ask that instructors charge each student a monthly fee. The suggested fee is $50 to $75 a month, at the instructor’s discretion, and is kept by the instructor as their own extra income.
Instructors should expect to pay the following fees: $150 for instructional videos, $499 instructor certification which includes a 3-day, 18 hour, certification test at Krav Haganah Global, and $150 per month to teach the program under the Krav Haganah Global name, including upgrades to the program, a listing of their location and class information on the Krav Haganah Global website, the curriculum and other supporting materials. The Instructional videos and instructor certification can be paid in smaller installments or as a lump sum. Installment payments and the monthly membership must be paid electronically either by credit card or bank draft. Instructors will also need to purchase rubber knives, rubber guns, safety glasses, and kickpads from the vendor of their choice.
Requirements of becoming a Krav Haganah Global Instructor:
1. Desire to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ for salvation, and to grow others spiritually.
2. Passion for martial arts and a desire to learn, teach, and grow in the Krav Haganah System.
3. Obtain a location: Permission from the pastor/church to hold weekly class(es); or a weekly space at a community center or business space. Location must be at least 10 miles away from another school location, and at least 20 miles away from Krav Haganah Global Headquarters.
4. Must be able to preform and pass all Krav Haganah Global Techniques, become a certified Krav Haganah Global Instructor and maintain instructor status by attending Krav Haganah Global Instructor Seminars and paying the costs associated with certification and maintenance.
5.
